Jackie Bubb

Jackie Bubb is the Director Domestic Operations at New Zealand Red Cross for the Emergency Management and International team.  For the past three years she has led Red Cross people to prepare and respond to emergencies across Aotearoa. She has experience in emergency management and disaster risk reduction (DRR) in the Pacific and Aotearoa.

Jackie is passionate about engaging communities to prepare, respond and recover from emergencies and values the strength of community-based volunteers. Prior to this she lived in Vanuatu working as a DRR Advisor in the Pacific.  Previously she held various roles with Civil Defence Emergency Management in Auckland.
