Nick Horspool

Nick Horspool is a Senior Risk Scientist at GNS Science, a New Zealand Crown Research Institute. Nick has 15 years experience developing natural hazard risk models to quantify the impact natural hazards have on communities.

Prior to joining GNS Science, Nick worked for Geoscience Australia on disaster risk management projects across the Asia-Pacific region. Nick has just finished his PhD on life-safety risk in earthquakes, and has a MSc in Seismology.
